Nai Christopher
Following the win over William & Mary in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) home opener, Nia Christopher was one of two Towson University Women's Soccer players to earn CAA Weekly Honors.
Christopher was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week.
Christopher earn their second conference weekly honor of the season. Christopher formerly was the CAA Offensive Player of the Week on September 6th.
Mia Fishel
Graduate student Olivia Athens scored the Golden Goal in the sixth minute of overtime to complete Mia Fishel and her UCLA Women's Soccer teammates stunning 4-3 comeback victory at Arizona State.
Fishel gave UCLA an early lead in the 6th minute only to see Arizona score three consecutive goals in the 10th, 12th and 24th minutes. However, UCLA tied it up with a pair of goals less than a minute apart, and Athens ended the game with her game-winner in the 96th minute.
Joshua Joseph, Zenawi Bowen & Stefan Simmons
Joshua Joseph, Zenawi Bowen, Stefan Simmons, and their Thomas College Men's Soccer teammates doubled up on Maine Maritime Academy 2 - 1 in a North Atlantic Conference matchup.
First year Joseph buried his third goal of the season in the 27th minute, giving Thomas a 1-nil lead. Senior Bowen doubled the Thomas lead in the 67th minute, scoring his sixth goal of the season.
