 A total of seven IDA-Bermuda players are attending the Surf Nation 2010s Champions League Event in San Diego, California.
From the Warwick Academy High-Performance Football Program is, Rufaro Kunze, Antoinette Barry, Riley Khan, and Nila Samuels, while from the Warwick Football Academy, is Isaac Todd, and from North Village is Ny’Ori Dill and Roman Wilkinson.
The players are participating with the North East Surf Select 2010 teams.
The Boys’ team opened play with a 5 - 0 win over Idaho Surf, in their second match the Boys picked up a 7 – 0 win over Monterey Surf SC, but then they fell 5 – 1 to East County Surf.
Khan scored in the Girl's match to help NE Surf to a 4 - 1 win over Kansas City, they would then defeat LA Surf 5 – 1 in their second match. North East Girls picked up their third win of the tournament when they edged Santa Monica 2 – 1.
