Pensky highlights Leilanni Nesbeth as a leader, Nesbeth finished her Florida State career graduating over the weekend after earning her Masters in Sport Management.
Nesbeth ended with Career Accolades of 2023 National Champion, NCAA Tournament All-Tournament Team (2023), CoSIDA Academic All-District (2023), All-ACC Second Team (2023), All-ACC Second Team (2022), and 2021 National Champion.
In her final season, Nesbeth started in 21 games, scoring two goals and adding five assists in 1,617 minutes of play.
Nesbeth was a leader in the midfield, helped FSU record 14 shutouts in 23 games, Nesbeth registered an assist in three straight games for the best goal-contributing streak in her career (10/22-11/2).
Nesbeth hit a rocket for her second goal of the season to put the game away in a 4-1 win over No. 11 Notre Dame (10/12), both scored and assisted for the first time this season in the victory over Boston College (10/8).
Nesbeth drove the length of the field to assist the game's first goal at first-ranked North Carolina (9/24), Nesbeth recorded her first shot on goal this season in the victory at eighth-ranked Clemson (9/15).
