Warwick Academy won the Bermuda School Sports Federations Primary School Boys B Six-A-Side tournament after defeating Francis Patton 5 - 0 in the final.
Warwick applied pressure on the Francis Patton defense from the opening whistle and took the lead in the 4th minute when Owen Fosker hammered his shot into the roof of the net from the right corner of the box. Nick Luber doubled the lead two minutes later with an identical shot which left the Francis Patton goalkeeper with no chance.
Warwick Academy continued their attack in the second half and Fosker scored again when he got on the end of a cross from Jack Jones. Jaden Walrond rounded out the scoring with two wonderful solo goals. On both occasions, Walrond waltzed through a maze of defenders before scoring from close range.
Francis Patton goalkeeper Kenji Lima was the hero in their 1 - 0 Semi-Final win over previously undefeated Somersfield Academy. Elijah Lighbourne-Nesbitt scored the games only goal when he found the top corner of the Somersfield net after a counterattack led by KaeMori Simmons.
Somersfield spent the rest of the half deep in the Francis Patton half but was thwarted time and time again by the brave Lima in the Francis Patton net.
Warwick Academy had a much tougher time in getting past Saltus Grammar School in the other Semi-Final. Fosker was again on target for Warwick when he hammered a first-time shot from a Jones pass. Saltus equalized sooner after through Logan Slater. Both teams continued to press for the winner but neither team could find the back of the net sending the match to a daunting penalty shootout in which Warwick would ultimately prevail 4-2
