Ajani Burchall and his Aston Villa Under 18 teammates went down 5 – 3 to Arsenal on the road.
Arsenal took the lead through Marcelo Flores in the 21st minute, seven minutes later it was a second goal for Arsenal. Khayon Edwards doubled the hosts’ lead.
Taylor Jay-Hart pulled a goal back for Aston Villa in the 36th minute, but four minutes later Arsenal reclaimed their two-goal lead through Flores.
In the 49th minute, Arsenal would get a fourth. Charles Sagoe Jr gave Aston Villa a mountain to climb, Flores completed his hat-trick minutes later as Arsenal led 5 – 1.
Tommi O’Reilly grabbed a goal back for Aston Villa in the 62nd minute, and then in the 67th minute Karel Reddin scored for Aston Villa, but they could not get any closer.
