The Bermuda Football Association presented its 2021 Legends Scholarship Programme Awards.
The 5 Legends honored this year are Larry “Cracks” Darrell, Shawnette Perott, Quinton Rudolf Minors, Glen Wade, and Sheldon Bradshaw.
The Legends Scholarship is presented to Bermuda’s brightest student-athletes who embody the spirit of the Legends of the game.
The Larry Darrell Scholarship recipient is Kauai Evans.  Evans has most recently played for PHC and will continue his High School studies at Washington Academy.
The recipient for the Sheldon Bradshaw Scholarship is T’Syi Showers.  Showers will be studying Kinesiology, Sport & Athletic Coaching Track at the University of Central Florida.
Jannis Roberts is the recipient of the Rudy Minors Scholarship.  Roberts has played for FC Bascome and is a current player of the IMG Academy Under 15, and Bermuda National Academy Under 15 teams.
The Glenn Wade Scholarship recipient is Bakari Furbert.  Furbert will be attending Brooke House College in Leicester, UK, on an IGCSE Course.
The recipient of the Shawnette Perott Scholarship is Richard Jones Jr.  Jones Jr. recently made his first appearance this year with the Senior Men’s National Team. He will be studying Sports Medicine at Loughborough University in the UK.
