Nathan Trott and his West Ham United Development Squad teammates took on League One Peterborough United coming away with a 2 - 1 win.
West Ham United got off to a flying start as Josh Pask won the ball superbly, bursts forward, beating two men, split the defence and Jaanai Gordon is on hand to slot it home - excellent finish.
Moments later Peterborough look to equalise however Morgan Ferrier was denied by a superb save by the on-rushing Trott.
Bermudian-born goalkeeper Trott was alert in the 31st minute as he was on his toes to grab Shaquile Coulthirst's shot from the edge of the box.
At the half time break West Ham United Development team held a 1 - 0 lead.
Two minutes into the second half was not exactly the start West Ham United had in mind. Coulthirst went racing down the right-flank, he got goal side and was fouled, he picked himself up and sent Trott the wrong way leveling the score at 1 - 1.
The match went back and forth, in the 85th minute, some late pressure from Peterborough with a series of corners, saw Trott superbly punch acrobatically the third one to safety.
The West Ham United winner came in stoppage time with Alex Pike despatching his penalty coolly after Dan Kemp was brought down following a lovely flicked pass by Luka Belic, excellent play all round.
