The venue of Southend United v West Ham United XI has moved from Roots Hall to Burroughs Park The friendly will still take place on Saturday July 25th, kick off 3pm The fixture is one of six Dev Squad pre-season friendlies.
The West Ham United Development Squad that features Bermudians Djair Parfitt-Williams and Nathan Trott will see their friendly with Southend United will now take place at Great Wakering Rover FC’s Burroughs Park ground.
The pre-season fixture, set for 3pm on Saturday July 23rd, was originally set for the Shrimper’s Roots Hall stadium.
The match is one of six pre-season friendlies that Terry Westley’s U21 Premier League Cup champions will play before the start of the competitive calendar.
Opening their pre-season preparations with an away fixture with Chelmsford City on Friday July 15th, the young Hammers will also face Peterborough United, FC Eindhoven, VVV Venlo and Chelsea U21.
