Bermuda’s young Female talent will, once again, be on display when the Caribbean Football Union's Under 17 Championship get underway in San Juan, Puerto Rico Friday November 13th.
The Bermuda team held a training session this morning, word from the camp is that the girls seem pretty relaxed and ready for competition.
The bi-annual event will be hosted by the Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol at Estadio Juan Roman Loubriel from November 13th – 22nd. The finals will be contested by eight teams which will be split into two groups.
Group 1 will showcase Bermuda, Cuba, Jamaica and host nation Puerto Rico. In Group 2, defending champions Trinidad and Tobago will face Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
The championships will kick off on November 13th with Cuba taking on Bermuda at 4:30pm followed by Puerto Rico versus Jamaica at 7:30pm.
Group 2 will begin play on November 14, with Trinidad and Tobago taking on the Dominican Republic at 4:30 pm followed by Haiti playing Barbados at 7:30 pm
The top two CFU teams will qualify for the Under 17 CONCACAF finals in Grenada in March 2016.
