Thomas College Men’s Soccer programme that features 6 Bermuda players, including Jordan Payne, London Steede-Jackson, Mikal Simmons, Tre Ming, Willie Clemons and Chris Godfrey shutout the University of New England 1-0 in a non-conference game at Smith Field. DJ Nicholas scored the lone goal for the Terriers in the win.

Thomas College scored the games only goal midway through the first half. Steede-Jackson passed it through the defending line to Nicholas who fired it past the keeper and into the back of the net.

Thomas maintained the 1-0 lead in to half time, holding the Nor'easters without a shot on goal through the first 45 minutes.
New England threatened the Thomas College lead throughout the second half, with goalkeeper Joakim Sternas making timely stops, as well as strong defensive play by Lukas Bohman.

Thomas College totaled seven shots on goal, with UNE only recording two.

Sternas stopped both shots he faced en route to his first shutout of the season. Nate Diffin, who played the first 65 minutes of the game before being relieved by Jake Rostkowski, was tagged with the loss.

Donte Brangman - East Tennessee State

Donte Brangman played 45 minutes after being sidelined for a few games due to injury as his East Tennessee State (ETSU) teammates finished their non-conference schedule with a 1-0 victory over the Liberty Flames. ETSU scored the only goal off a penalty kick in the 80th minute.

The game was back and forth throughout the entire match. The first half had several chances for both teams to score.

The best chance for ETSU to get ahead in the first half came at the 23rd minute. Luke Parker went streaking down the field on the counter-attack. Parker found Joao Ramalho with a 30-yard lead pass, and Ramalho ran past the Flame defense and took a shot that hit the right post. Liberty was able to get the ball away before ETSU could get another shot off.
