Aaliyah Nolan and her 9th-ranked Navarro Women’s Soccer teammates won their fourth consecutive game and second straight league match by shutout with a 3-0 blanking of the Jacksonville Lady Jaguars.
Coach Alicia Wilson’s Bulldogs improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in Region XIV play with the win. While dropping its second straight league game, the Lady Jaguars fell to 3-3 on the regular season.
Navarro was unable to capitalize on numerous first-half scoring opportunities in the Jacksonville end, but managed to squeeze out a goal five minutes before intermission.
NC added second-half goals on Shaylee Ward’s header with 27 minutes left and Deneisha Blackwood’s shot with 7:20 remaining.
Freshman goalkeeper Kaitlyn Baugh recorded a second straight shutout and third overall this season.
