Bermuda’s Under 20 Women’s National Team of Micah Pond, Taznae Fubler, Zakiyah Durham, Sideya Dill, Danielle Foote, Teyah Lindo, Leah Smith, Kali Lespere, Ember Butterfield, Symira Lowe Darrell, Deshae Darrell, Aaliyah Nolan, Jada Samuels, Victoria Davis, Eva Frazzioni, Zara Gibbons, Kshaela Burch-Waldron and Marley Christian arrived back in Bermuda late last night after advancing from Group 3 of the Caribbean Football Union U20 World Cup Qualifiers.
Head Coach Naquita Robinson said, “These Girls have done Bermuda proud, people need to keep encouraging them and congratulating them on their accomplishment.”
“Going into the last game we knew what was at stake and we did not want to change the game plan, we looked at making the host the Dominican Republic adapt to us and they did,” continued Robinson.
Bermuda’s Under 20 team will play Haiti, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico in the next round in October.
