Second Annual Rangers Soccer Schools Camp

IslandStats.com
For the second year in a row North Village Community Club is extending opportunities not only to the club’s players but to all the children of Bermuda who are interested in receiving football training from professional international coaches.

The Rangers Soccer Schools Camp will take place the week commencing March 30th at Bernard Park. The coaches from the Scottish Football Club have all been hand-picked and are all qualified to the highest standards and all have experience in developing professional players.

“One of the goals established from the five-year deal signed between North Village/Rangers partnership was to provide affordable local professional development to ALL the children of Bermuda between the ages of 6-16 years old who love football, boys and girls alike” said Stephen Coddington, North Village Community Club President.

“We recognize that overseas trips are very costly and not everyone can afford them. Thanks to sponsors such as EuroCar, TNT Driving and OIL Management Services Limited, North Village is pleased to provide this great opportunity for children to receive international professional coaching right here at home.”

“Extending the opportunity to children from other clubs so that all Bermuda footballers can reap the benefits just made sense. At the end of the day, we’re interested in the overall professional development of Bermuda’s youth.”

“The positive response that we received last year was overwhelming. However, the demand exceeded our expectation last year and we had to turn people away. We will once again have limited spaces therefore we encourage people to sign up early to avoid disappointment. We are looking forward to another very successful week.” concluded the club President.

Rangers Football Cub play in the Scottish Professional Football League and are one of the most successful professional clubs in the world, having won the Scottish domestic title on 54 occasions and with total trophies won of over 100, both of which are still world records.

The cost for the week-long camp is $225. Registration deadline is March 13th, 2015. Registration forms can be downloaded from www.northvillage.bm or collected from Pro Shop on Reid Street, at Sidekicks in Washington Mall or at Hayward’s in Warwick.
