Goals from Toni Adelaye and George Waring earned Dale Eve and his Stoke City's Under-21s teammates a victory in their first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
Glyn Hodges' side came from behind to earn the win after Alex Parsons had earlier put the Rocks into a one-nil lead after just two minutes of play.
A quick-fire response from Stoke, however, saw them equalize through Adelaye when he curled in a shot off the frame of the goal after neat work from Kieran Monlouis.
Waring then scored what proved to be the winner when he slotted the ball into the bottom left corner after Adelaye had brought down a long ball forward to tee him up.
Monlouis later smashed a long range effort narrowly wide of the post whilst an Eddy Lecygne free kick after the restart was only denied by the upright.
James Alabi then saw goal-bound header tipped over the crossbar by Bognor keeper Chris Winterton as City were denied in their bid to add further goals to the tally.
