The Bermuda's Brazilian Football School participated in the Eastern Development Cup (EDP) in Hammonton New Jersey recently.
In the Under 14 Boys Silver Cup Division the Bermuda's Brazilian Football School finished 4th in their Group having gone down 3 – 1 to Manhattan SC Villa, 4 – 1 to South Jersey Elite Barons 99 and 7 – 1 to World Class FC 99 NCL.
Cal Blankendal the Bermuda Brazilian Football School’s CEO said, “They worked hard, scored first in each match but the opponents were just that much better.”
In the Under 11 EDP Cup Ruby 8v8 Division the Bermuda Brazilian Football School, finished the Group Stage with a 1 win and 2 losses record to advance to the Third Place Play-off match, were they defeated Match Fit Academy FC Summit Regional Elite 7 – 4.
Earlier in the tournament the Bermuda Brazilian Football School had fallen 6 – 3 to Maryland Rush Academy Blue O2B MRM and then 6 – 5 to Match Fit Academy FC Summit Regional Elite, before defeating Primo FC Under 11 Boys 6 - 2.
Blankendal said, “Great job by the Under 11's by finishing third and keeping the Bermuda Brazilian Football School tradition alive. Each tournament we have entered in thus far, one of our teams has always placed in the top three.”
