The Bermuda Netball Association will be hosting a Coaching Development Course.
The course is perfect for those who are at least 16 years of age, who wish to start coaching netball, or teachers who are new or need a refresher on netball fundamentals.
The level 1 netball coaching certificate has eight (8) modules covering the role of the coach, how to give instruction and feedback, fundamental netball skills, court application, and how to plan a training session. The course incorporates theoretical and practical components completed in-program. Successful completion of all modules and a netball rules quiz are required to gain the level 1 certificate.
The level 2 netball coaching certificate has eight (8) modules covering strategy and game analysis, physiology of netball, the coach in action, game sense, and more advanced netball skills. The course incorporates theoretical and practical components completed in-program.
Successful completion of all modules and a netball rules quiz are required to gain the level 2 certificate.
