Bermuda Netball Association League Round-Up

The Bermuda Netball Association’s League season resumed with matches taking place inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium.

Under 11 Development League

In the opener the Sparks and NPS Hotsteppers took to the court with the Sparks naming Amaiah Samuels as the teams MVP, the Best Attackers were Amaris Dyer and Azaria Scott, while the Best Defenders were Naomi Outerbridge and Amara Samuels. The NPS Hotsteppers named Gabrielle Babon as their MVP, while their Best Attacker was Reegan Lightbourne, and the Best Defender was Tamirra Richardson.

Next on the court were the Storm and the North Village Lady Rams. Eliah Trott was named the Storm MVP, while Priya Dill was named the co-MVP and the Best Attacker, and the Best Defender was Trayonna Maina. The North Village Lady Rams named S’mya Tyrell the best Attacker and the MVP, while the Best Defender was Morgan Gibbons.

Under 14 Division

The Storm defeated the Rangers 22 – 6, the Storm got 12 goals from Malaysia Furbert, Ameerah Outerbridge added 9 goals, and Nailah Barclay scored once, with Day’asha Dill named the teams MVP, while the Rangers got three goals from E’rynn Paynter, Saajida Daniels scored twice and MVP Honor Caesar scored once.

Phoenix Embers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 20 – 9. Hailey Trott scored 14 goals to lead the Phoenix Embers to victory, both Xola Rollins, and Ahnari Grant scored three goals each, while Nyli Grant was named the teams MVP. The North Village Lady Rams got 6 goals from MVP Razeeyah Robinson, Jazmine Sutton added 2 goals, and Devine DeSilva scored once.


Under 17 League

In the Under 17 Division, the Reds won the battle of the North Village Lady Rams. The North Village Lady Rams Reds defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 49 – 19. Arianna Sabir led the Reds to victory with 28 goals, while J’zari Zuill-Dillas added 21 goals, the White’s got 10 goals from Re’eesah Robinson, Rezeeyah Robinson added 9 goals. Nevaeh Swan was named the Red’s MVP, while Talia Wade was the White team's MVP.

In the other match, the Storm and Phoenix Fire played to a 23 – 23 draw.
