The Phoenix Heat defeated the North Village Lady Rams in Bermuda Netball Association Senior League action at Bernard’s Park.
Danielle Raynor led the Phoenix Heat with 39 goals, while Ebonie Cox added 6 goals, the Best Attacker was Dominique Richardson, Kiante Lightbourne was named the Best Defender, with K'Xiyae Gibbons was named the MVP.
Darrika Simons scored 16 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, Michelle Romaine added 8 goals, Corriah Simmons scored 5 times and Jada Richards scored once. Akeyla Furbert was named the Best Attacker, Hayley Francis Cann was named the Best Defender, and Quinnae Outerbridge was the team's MVP.
BSSF Primary School Development Tournament
The Bermuda School Sports Federation hosted a Development Tournament for Primary School Girls at Bernard’s Park.
Several Primary Schools from across the island took the opportunity to allow their students to be involved in organized Netball matches.
