The Netball magic came alive at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in the middle of Walt Disney World, near Orlando, Florida.

The North Village Lady Rams ended the day with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses.

The North Village Lady Rams began the tournament against ASCO Juniors from the UK, going down 22 - 8.

Team manager Stacy Grant said, “The game was more physical than we are used to and we adjusted too late. Lesson learned.”

The Lady Rams bounced back to win their second game defeating Chesterfield 33 – 4. Hunt led the team to victory with 20 goals, Morris scored 7 goals and Brianna Swainson scored 6 times.

The next game saw the Lady Rams defeat the Texas Lone Stars 37 - 12. Hunt scored 20 goals again, while Morris scored 17 goals.

The Lady Rams victory run was halted with a 20 – 9 defeat to the ACSO Juniors.

Grant said, “Another very physical game. Unfortunate result, we need to play netball with our heads as well. We took a few hard knocks but we are still here.”

The Lady Rams defeated Chesterfield High 25 - 7. Hunt led the team again with 14 goals, while Morris added 7 goals, Zariah Amory scored 3 goals and Swainson scored 1. The Lady Rams next defeated Gad Hill 31 - 10. Hunt scored 19 goals and Morris added 12 goals.

The North Village Lady Rams closed out the day’s play with a 10 – 9 loss to Netball Alberta 10. Hunt scored 5 goals and Morris scored 4 times.

Grant said, “We really thought the score was tied but that's how it goes. If we would have made our shots count we would not be having this conversation. We are very proud of our girls and we are looking forward to tomorrow."
