Bermuda Karting Club member Blake Horseman competed in the Gearup F-Series Racing in North Carolina.
Horseman was consistent in the racing with three top 10 finishes, after recording a 6th place finish in the Formula TAG Qualifying Race.
Competing in the 36 drivers field Formula TAG Division, Horseman finished 8th in Race 1 covering the 10 lap course in a time of 8:52.138, with his fastest lap being 48.034 seconds.
Horseman then competed in Race 2, finishing 8th again clocking a time of 9:52.462, this time the fastest lap was during lap 9 which was clocked at 9:52.657.
Race 3 saw the sixth lap for Horseman his fastest clocking 48.478, to yet again finish 8th with a 10 lap time of 9:12.212.
Horseman on his social media page said, “Simply an amazing weekend at GoPro Motorplex. At a loss for words to try and describe the astonishing atmosphere I experienced. Surrounded by the best team... in the biz, accompanied with an amazing series and stiff competition.”
“Hopping back in a 2-stroke and some grippy tires felt amazing after a 4 month absence,” concluded Horseman.
