Scott Barnes continued competing in the Super Karts USA Super Nats.
Barnes competed in the Master's Shifter Class Practice Field with some 47 drivers.
On Day Three, Barnes finished 47th, completing 1 lap, in the Practice Round clocking 46.944.
In Heat Three, Barnes was Disqualified.
Barnes said, “And the bad luck continues in Vegas, I needed a solid top 5 finish today in Heat 3 to salvage a mid-pack start tomorrow and we fought hard to get it, but the post-race tech got us a DQ for having the practice tires on not the race tires. We will be starting in the back of a 47-kart field tomorrow. Top 15 goals.”
