Scott Barnes began to compete in the Super Karts USA Super Nats.
Barnes will be live on www.islandstats.com at 3 pm Bermuda time.
Barnes competed in the Master's Shifter Class Practice Field with some 47 drivers deep and stacked!
Day 1 Practice is in the books, on a very fast 100mph track with a few 1st gear turns, Barnes finished Practice Race 2 in third place. Barnes would then finish 2nd in Practice Race 3, before closing out finishing 7th in Practice Race 4.
Barnes said, “It definitely a different track but we have the speed to run up front. I need a good qualifying session, I have never been great at qualifying so I need to turn that around today.”
