The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Association (BMRA) will be conducting its 2021 race season from June 6th to October 17th. Due to recent restrictions, the May race was canceled. This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, the association is only allowing racing members, committee members, and flaggers within the pit area. Unfortunately, no spectators will be allowed on-site.
This year BMRA has teamed up with local motorcycle distributor, Scooter Mart, to offer a new stock race class for those looking for a taste of GP racing.
The fully spec class will allow competitors to go head to head with all riders competing on equal machinery. Racers’ skill and talent will determine who comes out on top each race day, culminating in close racing and high competition within the group.
The first cohort of racers for the new class comes from the junior program and includes Aiden Lopes, Daente Fox, Sheun Simmons, Jediah Cumbermack, and Norre Robinson. The class is open to both juniors and seniors aged 14+ who will compete on stock KTM RC 125 motorcycles, purchased through Scooter Mart at a special rate for the class.
If you would like to join the new Scooter Mart KTM 125 Class or any other classes within our championship series, please register as a member on the BMRA website and officials will be happy to guide you in the process of racing.
