Jonah Smith became the second Bermudian Motocross rider to qualify for the Loretta Lynns Finals in August, following the accomplishments of Jyire Mitchell.
Smith competing in the 450b Class finished 4th overall they took top 6.
Eighteen year old Smith lives and trains in Georgia at the Georgia practice facility, he was the youngest to win top honors in Bermuda at 14 on a 250cc and he has since had a couple of first place finishes at the Mini Olympics held in Florida every Thanksgiving. This is the second biggest race next to the Loretta Lynn Finals.
The Loretta Lynn Finals is the most prestigious Elite Final in Moto Cross Knockouts, with qualifying going on since February as the top 42 riders across America look to qualify for each class for the Final at the Loretta Lynns Ranch.
