Trinidad & Tobago 92 Caribbean Women’s Select 0
The Caribbean Women's Select Team comprised of players from nine countries around the region-Curacao, Guyana, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Mexico and Bermuda went down 92-0 to Trinidad & Tobago in a match that was officiated by Keith Hodgkins from Bermuda.
The two Bermuda players in the Caribbean Women's Select team are Anna Knapman-Scott & Emma Msowoya.
Try in the opening minutes from flanker Jade Ramjag, converted by fly half Juliana Straker, gave T&T into an early 7-0 lead. Right wing Alesha Bruce extends the lead to 12-0. Straker converts to extend the lead to 14-0. Left wing Dalia Jordon Brown scores in the corner to make it 19-0.
Continued pressure from T&T saw Ramjag score her second of the half and then a Try from Taliah Wilson, converted by Straker made the score 31-0. A Straker Try put T&T into a convincing 36-0 lead, and then a second Try of the match from Bruce increased the score to 41-0. Minutes later Jenilee Limada scored her first Try of the tournament to make the score 46-0 before Ayana Skeete scored a Try as T&T took a 51-0 lead into half time.
In the second half, Straker scored another Try, which was converted by Merlin Blackford to make the score 58-0, then Taliah Wilson got in on the scoring act when she scored a Try which was converted by Blackford.
Trinidad & Tobago got further 2 Try’s from Starker, Wilson, Jordon Brown and Nicolette Panter, while Blackman kicked a Conversion to make the final score 92-0.
