At the place Flora Duffy earned her first career World Triathlon Series victory, she returned to Stockholm, knowing she was a marked woman, but that seemed to give the Bermuda Female Athlete of the Year and Triple World Champion just more drive.
Duffy put the hammer down and clocked a winning time of 2:00.09, with Jessica Learmouth from Great Britain second in 2:01.30 and Ashleigh Gentle from Australia finished third in 2:01.39.
Duffy had a strong Swim, before heading out on the Bike Course.
Duffy, Katie Zaferes and Learmouth held a lead of 1:14 seconds on the bike segment.
Duffy then led off the bike and into the run with 2 minute lead on the chase pack.
Duffy completed lap 2 on the run with two laps to go, her lead was down to 1:03 over second place Learmouth, Duffy although the gap was closing remained in control as she headed for another WTS win.
