Bermuda Olympian Flora Duffy won the Montreal World Cup Triathlon Women’s event clocking a time of 1:03.00, finishing 24 seconds ahead of second place finisher Ashleigh Gentle from Australia who clocked 1:03.24 and Taylor Knibb from USA finished third in 1:03.44.
Duffy led from start to finish exiting the water in a time of 10:10, Duffy then clocked 33.25 on the Bike Course before running to victory with a time of 17.43.
Tyler Smith finished 36th competing in the Montreal World Cup Triathlon Men’s event stopping the clock in a time of 1:03.41.
Smith completed Swim Course in a time of 10.13, before recording a Bike Course time of 34.07, Smith closed out with a time of 17.41 on the Run Course.
Erica Hawley finished 8th in the Junior/Under 23 Triathlon Quebec Grand Prix Female Race stopping the clock in a time of 1:13.06.
Hawley was up against several of the leading Canadian Juniors whom she raced against in the Canadian Nationals two weeks ago.
Hawley clocked 11:02 on the Swim, followed by a time of 39:01 on the Bike Course before closing out with a time of 21:14 on the Run Course.
