Tom Hands, Sarah Farrah, Victor Ruberry and Nancy Stevens all competed in the Victoria Ironman 70.3 in British Columbia, Canada recently at the beautiful Elk Lake venue just on the outskirts of Victoria.
Hands and Farrah competed in the 70.3 and Stevens and Ruberry competed in the Sprint.
Farrah completed the 1.2 mile Swim 43:32, she then covered the 56 Mile Bike course in 3:15:32 and then she ran the 13.1 mile Run Course in 2:08:17 to cross the line in an Overall Time of 6:12:15, she was competing in the Women’s 40-44 Age Group and finished 48th.
Hands was competing in the Men’s 50-54 Age Group finished 78th after clocking an Overall Time of 6:41:31. Hands clocked 39.38 on the Swim, 3:14:36 on the Bike and 2:40:44 on the Run.
The Sprint Distance saw the competitors cover a 750 meter Swim, 20k Bike and 5K Run.
Stevens clocked an Overall Time of 1:43:42 finishing 5th in the Women’s 45-49 Age Group, while Ruberry clocked an Overall Time of 1:49:41 finishing 4th in the Men’s 55-59 Age Group.
