Flora Duffy will be hoping to continue her remarkable winning streak in XTerra Triathlons as she competes in the 4th ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships just outside the town of Zittau, Germany on Saturday August 16th.
The race which has attracted a strong Elite field, so far has 533 athletes from 30 nations signed up, including about 100 Elite/U23 starters.
Alongside defending champions Helena Erbenová and Conrad Stoltz, the Male participants will include Asa Shaw, Ruben Ruzafa, Ben Allen, 2005 Hawaii Ironman Faris Al-Sultan and Felix Schumann (runner-up in the 2014 German Cross Triathlon Championships).
Among the Female competitors will be Renata Bucher, German Elite Cross Triathlete Kathrin Müller (European Cross Triathlon Champion in 2014).
The event will consist of a 1,500m two loop Swim, 36km Cross Country Bike and 9km Cross Country Run.
