Tyler Smith has finished 25th competing in the 2019 Kecskemťt ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup Elite Men race in Hungary.

Smith continues his comeback following an injury.

In a field of 70 competitors, Smith was clocked across the line in a time of 53.12.

Smith clocked 9:14 on the Swim, 26:24 on the Bike and closed out with a time of 16:23 on the Run Course.

Two Class Records Broken in Around the Island Race  (POWERBOATS)

Two new Class Records were established during the 2019 edition of the Bermuda Power Boat Associationís Around the Island Race.

With a time of 50.19, David Selley and Scott Barnes in addition to Breaking the A Class Record also took the Line Honors as being the First Boat to Cross the Line.

The other Record came during the B Class as Mark Selley and Jordan Fletcher were clocked at 43.

Daniel Phillips began competing in the Sanchez-Casal Youth Cup Under 14 Tournament in Spain.

Phillips the fourth seed in the Qualifiers took on Maxime Salesses from Belgium.

Phillips would advance after defeating Salesses in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.

Phillips then had to take on the number 10 seed for a spot in the Main Draw.

The Bermuda Bicycle Associationís Road Race season continued with the Bicycle Works Classic Road Race in Paget, Warwick and Southampton.

Conor White won the Adult A Class in a sprint finish edging out Kaden Hopkins and Nicholas Narraway. White was clocked across the line in 1:47:00.505, Hopkins was second in 1:47:00.660 and Narraway finished third in a time of 1:47:00.971.

Bermuda Juniors to Compete in ECVA Championships  (VOLLEYBALL)

The Bermuda Volleyball Associationís Junior Girls National Volleyball Team will be participating in the 2019 ECVA U20 Zonal Championships, to be held in St. Johns, Antigua. This tournament will be held August 22nd through August 26th and represents the first stage of qualification for the FIVB Volleyball Womenís U20 World Championship which will be held in the summer of 2021.

Jyire Mitchell continued competing for Team Holeshot Motor Sports on the Canadian MX Circuit.

The Professional Eighth Round Moncton Division Triple Crown Race took place at the Walton Raceway.

In the Moncton 250cc Division Mitchell finished 6th overall, he finished 8th in the First Moto and then finished 5th in the Second Moto.

Devwah Whaley and his University of Arkansas teammates continue to prepare for the upcoming season with a Training Camp.

Whaley enters his final year at Arkansas off an injury-plagued 2018 season.

He earned the starting nod in each of the Razorbacksí first four games before being slowed by injuries and appearing in three of the teamís final eight games.

The Bermuda Volleyball Associationís Corona Coed Beach Volleyball Tournament took place at the Horseshoe Bay Beach with a full slate of action.

The team of Dan and Alli were crowned the Coed 2ís Champions, while Over Served won the Coed 4ís Recreation Division title and Hit It From the Back won the Coed 4ís Competitive Division.
