Warwick Academy Swimmers Back In Action in Florida  (SWIMMING)

The final day of Preliminaries saw Warwick Academy swimmers back in action during the Speedo Winter Age Group Championships in Florida.

In the 15-16 Women’s 200 Yard Butterfly, Taylor White finished 12th with a time of 2:16.69, with a time of 1:15.02, Daria Desmond finished 16th in the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Breaststroke.

At the Bernard Park, visiting St. George’s Colts defeated Vasco 5 – 0 to end the first half of the season taking 22 of 24 points. The St. George’s Colts got two goals from Deigo McCalllan and Damon Darrell, while Macai Simmons added the other.

Outerbridge Competes in Memorial Season Opener  (TRACK AND FIELD)

Quinnae Outterbridge took to the track to represent the University of Hartford at the Joe Donahue Memorial Season Opener at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston.

Outerbridge competed in the Women’s 800 Meter Run Section 1 race finishing 8th with a time of 2:29.09, her time would see her finish 8th overall.

Warwick Academy swimmers took to the pool yet again to continue competing in the Speedo Winter Age Group Championships in Florida.

Taylor White won the first Medal of the evening claiming the Bronze during the 15-16 Women’s 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:09.00.

Jack Harvey won the Silver Medal in the 15-16 Men’s 200 Yard Backstroke clocking a time of 1:51.99.

The Bermuda Netball Association’s Senior League Who’s Who Tournament took place at the Bernard’s Park.

In a tournament that sees players on teams select random bibs for each position.

The Phoenix Heat won the Tournament with 12 points, with the Storm second with 9 points and the Lindo’s Tigers finished third with 6 points.

Jillian Terceira was back in action competing in the CSI** Lier International Horse Jumping event in Belgium.

During the CSIYH1* - 6 Year Old Horse Table A Against the Clock Class, Terceira and First Lady finished 59th clocking a time of 62.46, but they also had 8 Penalty Fault Points.

Two teams needing to win to improve their places in the standings ninth place Somerset Trojans and tenth place Boulevard Blazers took to the Somerset Cricket Club Field for their Premiership battle.

Noah Browne took to the court to compete in the $6,000 Men's Life Time Las Vegas Open 2019, at the Life Time Athletic Summerlin, in Las Vegas.

Browne received a First Round bye after being seeded 4th, he would take on Alejandro Reyes from Mexico in the Second Round.

Browne would fall in three straight games 11-7, 11-9, 13-11 in a battle that lasted 43 minutes.
