Amateur Ladies Stroke Play Championships Day Two

The Bermuda Golf Association’s 2024 Bermuda Amateur Ladies Stroke Play Championships moved into the Second Day of Play at the Port Royal Golf Course.
The 54-hole event is one of 5 majors on the BGA calendar.
First-round leader Sienna Mosquera did not have a good day, falling from first to 6th after a second-round 19-over par 89.

The Iron Kids Triathlon took place at Clearwater Beach, where a total of 98 youngsters competed in the Age Group on Racing Bikes and Non-Racing Bikes Divisions.
In the 11 – 15 Racing Bike Age Group Division Dylan Eiselt and Sofia Leclerc were crowned the Male and Female Champions.
Eiselt clocked a winning time of 20:55, Sanchez Smith was second in 22:28, and Jens Drea finished third

 Jessica Lewis was back in action competing in the WPA Paris Grand Prix.
Lewis took to the track for the T53 Women’s 400m race, she was clocked across the finish line in a time of 58.00, finishing behind winner Catherine Debrunner, from Switzerland, in 49.43, and Anita Scherrer, from Switzerland, rounded out the podium, clocking a time

Scott Barnes began competing on the SKUSA Pro Tour as races in the Spring Nationals at the Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati got underway.
Barnes, was on the Track for the Master Shifter Class sponsored by Fury Motorsport/GP USA Final Practice race, and the Provisional results had Barnes finishing 4th overall with a fastest lap time of 54.511.

The 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, being played at the Paseo Xolotlán court in Managua got underway.
Bermuda pair, Megan Hands and Kayley Hamilton went 1 & 2 in Women’s Pool A action, while Braedon Cooke and Connor Somerville went 0 & 3 on the opening day in Men’s Pool C.
Hands and Hamilton took on Katherine Quesada and Eugenia Ramírez from Costa Rica falling 21-10, 21-3.

The Dash at Dusk Youth races took place at the Flora Duffy South Field Stadium at the National Sports Center.
Elena Bortoli was crowned the 10-11 Girls Age Group Champion after she was clocked across the line in a time of 6:11.61, while the 10-11 Boys Age Group Champion was David Todd who recorded a time of 6:16.27.
