As the recognized National Sport Governing Body, The Bermuda Golf Association (BGA) and the charitable arm, the Bermuda Golf Foundation (Charity #141), are pleased to announce we are seeking a part-time Golf Development Officer (GDO) to join our team.
Over the past few years, the BGA has worked hard to be in a stronger financial position so we can introduce new initiatives such as our Golf in Schools and Life Skills program. The BGA Board and BGF Trustees look forward to seeing the game grow and enjoyed by all children in our primary schools, our community clubs, and golf courses across the island.
BGA President, Craig Brown, "I wish to thank my fellow Board members, the Trustees, BGA Administrator Gary Venning, The Government of Bermuda, The Bermuda Olympic Association, The PGA Tour and The Bermuda Championship, The BPGA and stakeholders for their immense support as we enter a new era for golf in Bermuda.
This role marks the beginning of some exciting initiatives as we progress with our strategic plan and build stronger ties within our community, working to reduce the barriers to entry and promote diversity, inclusion, and equality for anyone who wishes to be involved in this great game."
The Bermuda Golf Foundation is a registered charity (#141) committed to the growth, development, and sustainability of the game of golf in Bermuda. Donations and opportunities for corporate sponsorship are available.
