The Bermuda Professional Golf Association held the First Round of the Bermuda Championship Pre Qualifier Major at Belmont Hills.
The course was played under some tough conditions with 20kt winds and lightning fast greens.
Dwayne Pearman is the first round leader after shooting a well-played 1-under par 69, in 2nd place is Ocean View Professional Brian Morris with a 4-over par 74.
Chaka Desilva the reigning BPGA and Johnnie Walker Champion rounded out the top 3 with a round of 5-over par 75 and will play in the final group tomorrow at 10:32.
Scott Roy is at 6-over, while Twilton Smith is a further stroke back and Jeffrey Lindo is at 9-over, this group will feature in the 2nd last group at 10:24.
Belmont Hills staff are to be commended for their efforts as the golf course is in top condition and the tournament staff on top of their game.
