Bermuda Crew Struggle on Invitational Cup Day One

The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club boat competing in the Rolex New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup, in Newport, Rhode Island as come off the water in last place in the 19 boat fleet.

The Bermuda boat is skippered by James Macdonald, along with his crew Jon Corless, Tom Miller, Lexa Macdonald, Jeff Roach, Walter Smith, Paul Watson, and Alison Hill, who struggled on the water.

Macdonald and his crew finished the first race in 18th place, they would then finish in 19th in the second race, they then finished 19th in the final race of the day.

Macdonald has 56 points, while the Royal Thames Yacht Club skippered by John Greenland representing Great Britain are the leaders with 5 points.
