Day Two of the RC44 Bermuda Cup saw a drastic start to the day’s racing, as Artemis Racing and Team CEEREF collide shortly after the start.
All crew unhurt and safe, with Artemis heading in for repairs, Team Ceeref was looking to be back in business for race two. Apparently it was a port-starboard with Team Ceeref on port, and the collider rather than the collidee (Artemis Racing). There is hole in Artemis on the port topside around about the primary winch area.
At the conclusion of the four races in the Great Sound, Team Aqua lead with 9 points, while Bronenosec ended the day in second with 11 points, a further five points back was TEAM CEEREF. Team Nika are in fourth with 17 points, Peninsula Petroleum also have 17 points and are in 5th, Katusha ended the day in sixth with 22 points, while Artemis Racing Youth are in seventh with 24 points, Artemis Racing did not finish the first race and they did not start the next three races.
