Peter Bromby sailing Chequemate was crowned the 2015 J105 National Champion, after sailing three races on Day Two in the Great Sound.
Hosted by the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club (RHADC) Bromby went into the day with 7 points, Bromby and his crew finished 4th in the first race of the day, which was followed by a win and they closed out with a second place finish for a total of 14 points.
Jon Corless sailing Mayhem finished in second with 18 points after winning the first race and finishing 3rd in the second, before closing out with a 5th place finish,.
