While some may give the Americas Cup Boats in the Great Sound a lot of attention, Islandstats.com can reveal that seven youngsters who will carry the Bermuda Flag.
Jordan Etemadi, Micah Thomas-Raynor, Adam Larson, Felix Cutler, Tayte Stefaniuk, Joe Arrowsmith and Luke Madeiros will represent Bermuda at the upcoming Optimist North Americans in Antigua.
The Bermuda team is being coached by Mackenzie Cooper.
Cooper is a past Bermuda Optimist Dinghy Association sailor and a current student on the St Mary's College sailing team.
This is his first IODA event as the coach for the Bermuda team. There will be 23 countries represented by 163 sailors.
