The second Regatta of the 2015 ISAF Sailing World Cup Series is ended with Bermuda’s Ceci Wollmann qualifying Bermuda for a spot at the Pan Am Games in Toronto and Cameron Pimentel just missing out.
Wollmann finished 59th overall with 152 Net Points, but third in the Americas thus earning the spot for the Summer Games.
Wollmann who sails out of the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club carried the Bermuda Flag during the Closing Ceremony of the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mexico was one of the youngest competitors on the water in the Laser Radial Fleet.
With five spots up for grabs in the Laser Fleet for the Americas Pimentel finished sixth out of the Americas competitors and Pimentel 85th overall with 271 Net Points.
