Day 4 of 2014 Bermuda Invitational International Race Week has seen the crowning of a new Etchells Champion in John Hele.
Hele and the team on Renegade comfortably won the Etchells series with 13 points, they won 8 of the 12 races sailed. In second place was Bermuda's Tim Patton with 21 points and third was Great Britain’s Jason Owen who had 23 points.
In the International One Design (IOD) Fleet, Peter Wickwire has definitely won Series A and still holds a slim lead at the start of Series B. This means he is still leading the Overall series and is on course to hoist the Vrengen Gold Cup on Friday.
Cam Pimentel is still leading the Laser Fleet and nothing is holding him back even if he has a terrible final day on Thursday. Pimentel has 8 points, with Malcolm Smith in second place with 18 points and Brett Wright is in third with 23 points.
