Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen secured history by winning the 49er World Championship in Croatia, as racing on the final day was sailed in six to eight knot winds mixed the fleet up a bit as last attempts were made to make the medal race.
Young guns Marcus Hansen and Josh Prebski sailed a brilliant medal race to move them up to second place, Bermuda brother's Jesse and Zander Kirkland did not have the day they was looking for, when they dropped down the leaderboard from 4th to 9th.
The Kirklands finished the first race in 14th and then the second race in 23rd to finish the event with 136 Net Points.
