Sean Bouchard, Campbell Duffy and their Roger Williams University Sailing teammates took to the water, participating in different regattas and finishing in the top four in three of the events.
In the 30th Annual Marchiando Team Race, Roger Williams were able to capture a 2nd place finish after going 10-2. Roger Williams went 5-1 during both rounds, losing only to eventual champion Boston College. Roger Williams earned wins over Harvard, Boston University, Navy, Michigan and host Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Sailing for Roger Williams were Alec Anderson, Bouchard, Tyler MacDonald, Sophie Bellacosa, Kelly Stannard, and Tyler Wilson.
At the Friis Trophy Team Race, hosted by Tufts University, Roger Williams went 9-5, bringing home a 3rd place finish. In round one, Roger Williams went 4-3, defeating Harvard, MIT, Tufts, and Dartmouth. Roger Williams improved during round two, going 5-2, adding Brown to the list of victories. Sailing for Roger Williams were Alec Anderson, Bouchard, Tyler Macdonald, Sophie Bellacosa, Kelly Stannard, and Tyler Wilson.
At the Kruger Cup in New London, Conn. Roger Williams had three top-three finishes en route to a fourth-place finish during the nine-team in-conference regatta. Roger Williams finished with a score of 46 lead by Alexander Rudkin, Ryan Topal, Ian Hollerbach, and Duffy.
