Tyler Smith picked up yet another top-five finish as he clocked 1:02:08 competing in the 2023 Africa Triathlon Cup Troutbeck race in Zimbabwe.
Smith competing in the Elite Men’s race finished the 750m Swim clocking a time of 9:38, he would then cover the 20.34km Bike Course in a time of 34:21, before closing out with a time of 16:38 over the 5K Run distance.
James Edgar from Ireland clocked a winning time of 1:00:40, Dylan Nortje from South Africa was second in 1:01:11, and Jorge Alarcon Familiar from Mexico was third in 1:01:52.
