Bermuda Swimmers from Warwick Academy are competing in the Speedo Winter Age Group Championships in Florida.
Taylor White finished the 15 – 16 Women 200 Yard Butterfly Preliminaries in 11th place with a time of 1:00.54.
During the 13 – 14 Women’s 200 Yard Breaststroke Preliminaries Daria Desmond clocked a time of 2:42.61 finishing 14th.
Bella Howes clocked a time of 30.72 finishing 16th during the 13 – 14 Women’s 50 Yard Backstroke, while Adriana Argent finished 31st clocking 32.62.
Tayla Horan touched the wall in a time of 30.48 on her way to finishing 25th during the 15 – 16 Women’s 50 Yard Backstroke Preliminaries.
During the 13 – 14 Women’s 200 Yard Individual Medley Preliminaries, Howes finished 38th with a time of 2:30.00 and Desmond finished 41st clocking 2:32.59.
Howes finished 12th during the 13 – 14 Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle clocking 25.92, while Argent finished 27th with a time of 27.25 and Desmond finished 37th clocking 28.54.
White’s time of 25.61 saw her finish 14th during the 15 – 16 Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries, Horan was clocked at 26.20 finishing 20th.
White advanced to the 15 – 16 Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle Final when she finished 4th during the Preliminaries clocking a time of 5:17.51, Horan also advanced to the Final when she finished 9th with a time of 5:28.02.
In the 15 – 16 Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle Final, White finished 4th touching the wall in a time of 5:14.67, while Horan finished 8th clocking 5:26.62.
Brian Desmond won the 15 – 16 Men’s 500 Yard Freestyle Silver Medal when he was clocked in a time of 4:37.76.
During the 15 – 16 Men’s 50 yard Freestyle Caleb Ingham won the Bronze Medal clocking a time of 21.61, while Jack Harvey finished 10th with a time of 22.79.
Harvey finished 4th in the 15 – 15 Men’s 200 Yard Individual Medley Final when he was clocked at 1:58.56.
Harvey captured the Silver Medal in the 15 – 16 Men’s 50 Yard Backstroke Final touching the wall in a time of 24.69.
