Bermuda has two simmers competing at the Junior Pan Pacific Championship, set to be held to be held in Maui, Hawaii August 24th-27th.
The Junior Pan Pacific Championships will feature the four Pan Pac Charter nations of Canada, USA, Australia and Japan along with many countries in the Pacific Rim including New Zealand and Bermuda.
Bermuda will be represented by Madelyn Moore and Jesse Washington.
National coach Ben Smith said, “This will give our two swimmers a gauge of where they are at in their Age Group, as at the Meet will be the best 18 & Under Swimmers who did not make the trip to Brazil for the Olympics.”
Smith concluded, “We have learned that the B Cut is not enough and we need to strive towards the A Cut for competitions.”
