Powered by seven event wins, Ashley Yearwood’s Denison University Women’s Swimming teammates took first place at the Kenyon Swimming Relays and Denison Diving Relays, hosted jointly by the two colleges.
Junior Carolyn Kane led the way for Denison as she was a member of all five winning relays.
Kane started things off with a victory in the Women’s 200 Medley Relay along with Marissa Bednarek, Yearwood and Mary Van Leuven. The group posted a time of 1:46.45.
In the Women’s 200 Butterfly Relay, Kane, Yearwood, Erin Hudson and Halli Garza touched in 1:45.97 to win.
Denison's other win would come in the Women’s 200 Backstroke Relay as Keely Lovern, Yearwood, Alex Elizeus and Kane. The foursome would touch the wall in 1:47.29.
Yearwood was part of the Denison Women’s B team that finished 4th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay clocking a time of 1:39.81.
