Ashley Irby IslandStats.com Bermuda Swimmers hit the Pool yet again, as the XXIX Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships continued in Barbados at the Aquatic Center, Wildey.
Finals
Ashley Irby finished 7th in the 13-14 Women’s 400 LC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a Personal Best Time of 4:51.20, while Madelyn Moore finished 5th in the 13-14 Women’s 200 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a Personal Best Time of 2:33.64.
Keagan Woolley clocked a Personal Best time of 39.17 on his way to finishing 8th in the 11-12 Men’s 50 LC Meter Breaststroke Final, while Evan Farrow finished 6th during the 13-14 Men’s 200 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a time of 2:31.07 and Philip Hagen swam a Personal Best of 4:21.24 on his way to finishing 8th in the 15-17 Men’s 400 LC Meter Freestyle.
Preliminaries
Skyler Powell finished with the ninth fastest 11-12 Women’s 200 LC Meter Backstroke time just missing out on a spot in the Final with a time of 2:49.97. Powell then finished 11th competing in the 11-12 Women’s 50 LC Meter Breaststroke touching the wall in a time of 42.43.
Madelyn Moore will take her place in the 13-14 Women’s 200 LC Meter Backstroke after finishing 5th with a time of 2:34.78.
Jack Harvey finished 11th competing in the 11-12 Men’s 200 LC Meter Backstroke clocking a time of 2:39.26, while Keagan Woolley will compete in the 11-12 Men’s 50 LC Meter Breaststroke Final clocking a time of 39.42. Evan Farrow touched the wall in a time of 4:38.50 on his way to finishing 11th in the 13-14 Men’s 400 LC Meter Freestyle.
Philip Hagen missed out on a spot in the 15-17 Men’s 400 LC Meter Freestyle finishing 9th with a time of 4:22.11, while Jesse Washington finished 11th with a time of 4:25.77. Hagen finished 13th competing in the 15-17 Men’s 50 LC Meter Breaststroke touching the wall in a time of 32.92.
