Julian Fletcher, departed Bermuda to begin his life as a Full Time Professional Swimmer, Fletcher has joined the University of Southern California’s Elite Team.
While attending the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Fletcher along with National Coach Ben Smith discussed the options that Fletcher had in order to fulfill his dream of making it to the Olympics.
Fletcher said, “My long term goal is to reach the 2016 Olympic Games, but my short term goals are to get stuck into training and compete in a few Meets.”
Fletcher said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to train with Olympic medalists at an elite level.”
“I think the experience on that team will help me reach my goal of taking a second off my time by the end of this Swimming Season and then another second off my time before the Olympics,” concluded Fletcher.
