The Final Ross “Blackie” Talbot Charity Golf Classic Tee’d off at the Riddell’s Bay Golf and Country Club, shooting a round of 60 the team of Clem Talbot, Gary Williams, Jay Bilas and Lady Gozney won Day One AM Shotgun, while one stroke back was the team of Tracy Burgess, Glenn Robinson, Ryan McInerney and Iantha Butler. Adley Madeiros, Richard Marriott, Steve Hickmott and Roberto Bernardino finished third after they shot a round of 63.
John Bucher and Stephanie Lewis won the AM Male and Female Longest Drive on number Seven, while Steve Hickmott won the Men’s Closest to the Pin, while Tracy Burgess was the Female winner. Wayne Dears won both the Men’s Putting and Sand Shot, while Lori Goodwin won the Ladies Putting and Elaine Flannagan won the Ladies Sand Shot.
San Bezant, David Cart, Jamie Cann and Gladys Chambaz won Day One PM Shotgun shooting a round of 109. Bramwell Tucker, Craig Trott, Greg Steede and Evan Watkins finished second shooting 92 and finishing in third place was the team of Shawn Knight, Juhala Lambert, John Weale and Charles Lawrence who shot 88
Martin Harvey won the Men’s Longest Drive, while Linda Down won the Ladies Longest Drive, Paul Springs captured the Men’s Closest to the Pin title, while Elizabeth Parson won the Ladies Closest to the Pin challenge.
Keith Claridge won the PM Men’s Putting, while Gill Riihilumo won the Ladies Putting title. Leo Custodio Sr. won the Men’s Sand Shot title, while Wendy Salvia won the Ladies Sand Shot title.
