Daniel Phillips continued his return to Tennis action competing in the J4 Boca Raton Hard Court International tennis Tournament in Florida.
Phillips won the Men’s Open Singles Final defeating the number 2 seed Tygen Goldammer, from the United States of America.
Phillips would claim the title in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
In the Doubles Final, Phillips and Juan Velasquez from Columbia took on Ettore Romeo Baggio Danesi from Brazil, and Jack Martuccio from the United States of America.
The match was decided on a marathon Third Set Tie-breaker.
Phillips and Velasquez won the first set 6-4, but they fell in the second set by the same score.
The third and final set saw Phillips and Velasquez win 15-13.
