The ITF Junior Davis Cup got underway in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Bermuda would go down 3 – 0 in their opener against Costa Rica.
Bermuda would then face off against Honduras picking up a 2 – 1 win.
Tristan Pettit got Bermuda off to a good start picking up a three-set victory over Eduardo Matute, Pettit won 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the number 2 spot.
Zachary McGuire playing in the number one spot would fall 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 to Julio Gom.
It would come down to the Doubles, Tobiah Goodchild and Zachary McGuire would win in a three-set thriller, after splitting the first two matches 2-6, 6-3, against Gom and Jose Andres Mendoza, Goodchild and McGuire would come back from being down 8-4, to win the third set 11-9.
