In the 2024 season opener, Daniel Phillips and his Arizona State University Men's Tennis teammates defeated both Northern Arizona and Wichita State via a pair of 4-0 victories at Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe.
Arizona State opened their match against Northern Arizona, winning the Doubles, Phillips playing in the number 6 Singles spot took on Semem Agynskyy, Phillips went down in the first set 6-4, before being tied 3-3 in the second set, when Arizona State wrapped up the victory.
Phillips did not play a part in the victory over Wichita State.
